Patti will be returning to teach 27 - 29 September 2011
Full details/project will be updated here as soon as possible.

Below is the class which Patti taught here in 2010 to give you an idea of what the course will involve.

We are very pleased to welcome back Patti Medaris Culea to teach one of her new cloth dolls - the gorgeous Xiuying, Lantern Maker.

Xiuying is a 14" all cloth doll, she is a modern girl wearing her version of the clothing from the Ming Dynasty.

Using fun supplies we'll make her clothing and lantern, plus finish her face and create the easy beadwork.

Techniques taught during class are: Wiring and filling the body around the wire with stuffing, face drawing, sculpting and colouring, simple wire armature for the body and hands, fabric collage, working with craft foam, direct dying doll body, simple bead and silk ribbon work.

There will be some homework to do prior to the class and full instructions will be supplied on receipt of your booking form and deposit.

The cost of this course is £240.00 and includes three days tuition, lunch and refreshments each day.

Should you require bed and breakfast information we will be happy to send this to you on
booking.
